Gwalia, Western Australia
Located a short distance from Leonora, north of the goldmining center of Kalgoorlie, Gwalia hosted a large underground mine until the 1960s. Today it is worked as a open cut mine. Seen here is the State Hotel, which is part of the preserved section of the old town, which today is largely abandoned.
