Hillside walk, 09 September 2019
Two observations stand out today. First is saw toothed goldenbush (Hazardia squarrosa), which is in full bloom in virtually every location where it grows, including the mid north hillside, top of north hillside, and Canyon 4.
Second is twiggy wreath plant (Stephanomeria sp.) on the Lida Street berm. It's a small but many-stemmed specimen with numerous flowers. It's in the same area where a large specimen appeared several years ago.
