Hillside walk, 18 March 2019
Today we have a wealth of wildflowers. The single most impressive place is probably the mid north hillside because of the masses of stigose lotus (Acmispon strigosus) and the fields of lupine (Lupinus sp.). And it's so nice to see the birch leaf mountain mahogany (Cercocarpus betuloides var. betuloides) in full bloom, both in Canyon 5 and along Lida Street.
