Hillside walk, 19 November 2018

With the hillsides looking so sad and dry, it was an inspiration to find what I previously thought was a worn-out specimen of telegraph weed (Heterotheca grandiflora) at the top of the north hillside, now loaded with yellow blossoms. Maybe it appreciates the mild weather.

Everything else was similar to last week, a kind of status quo at the lowest point of floral activity.
