Hillside walk, 01 October 2018

Not much to report today. The hillsides are that little bit drier, with the flower count slightly less than last week.

The saw toothed goldenbush (Hazardia squarrosa) on the mid north hillside has significantly more flowers that in recent weeks, not that it every has very many out at one time.

The southern honeysuckle (Lonicera subspicata var. denudata) along Lida Street, just below Canyon 1, continues it's out-of-season blooming. This plant has multiple flowers, and not just a few. No other specimens of this species are blooming anywhere on the hillsides.
