The past week began with a half-inch of rain, which makes itself apparent in the damp ground. However, it results in little difference to the flowers at this point. Overall there is little change although there are fresh buds of some things, such as lemonade berry (Rhus integrifolia) and wild cucumber (Marah macrocarpa).
