Hillside walk, 24 November 2014
The California sagebrush (Artemisia californica) continues in full bloom on all parts of the hillside.
Mulefat (Baccharis salicifolia) in Lower Canyon 3 has more flowers than last week, but still not a huge number, possibly because the ground is so dry.
Overall, the hillsides are botanically quiet, waiting for rain and the coming of spring.
