Miletus, Turkey.
The theater at Miletus originally had a seating capacity was of about 5,000 but was expanded to 15,000 by the Romans. Miletus was a large city, extending all the way to the hills in the background. Walking around the central area of ruins today could take hours, but is very interesting. This is one of the cities visited by the Apostle Paul, as mentioned in the New Testament in Acts 20:15-17.
