Hillside walk, 05 January 2014

Little changed in the past week. The new season growth continues, albeit modestly. One new seasonal bloom was sighted this week, the fuchsia-flowered gooseberry (Ribes speciosum), although these new blooms were on just one of the many gooseberry plants that I saw.

The liverworts are now mostly withered. It's time for more rain!
