Hillside walk, 02 February 2013

This was a Saturday afternoon walk through both the north and west hillsides. The day was warm.

Notable is that the Ceanothus crassifolius is in high bloom, with its small trees scattered around the slopes and gullies.

This was the first walk where I found a way across the upper part of the western hillside, avoiding the poison oak on the lower parts of the hillside. Along the way I discovered coffee fern.
